Once upon a time, I was falling in love
But now, I'm only falling apart
There's nothing I can do
A total eclipse of the heart

Once upon a time, there was light in my life
But now, there's only love in the dark
There's nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart

I am always in the dark..

Well, not exactly. Me and SL went to Bird Park(really not the best place to go, but hey, it was ok) to go bird watching. Ok fine, just to rid ourselves of the mundane lives we are having after A levels, especially when all we are doing are slacking around. What a fine job to do. Walked around the park, I nearly got chased by a particularly nasty crowned pigeon who apparently liked by bag, found a chicken with an identity crisis in the middle of scarlet ibises( I ought to show the pic, it can be used as a motivational poster someday), saw pelicans, checked out some hawks, had lunch, went another round to see the lories(seen above) to watch them perch on other people. A discussion on geographical isolation on the species of birds followed. Urgh the relevance of bio.

Went to Jurong point for a stroll, went to Toys R' Us again( we really lost our childhood during these few years, didn't we?), met Ms Yeo, our former bio teacher(why do we always have to meet teachers whenever we go out??? It's almost terrifying), then had early dinner at Bento box before going home. I really ought not to waste food.

Such meetings are fun, heheh. Saves us from becoming mindless zombies back home with no stimulation.

"If you get lost, the easiest thing to do is to follow the cosplayers"--retsuya

That's right AFA ROCKS. It's my first time to a major event and I just bowled over. Even though I only spent like 3 hrs there cos the feet got tired walking around.

Met Mel at the her house, then walked walked walked all the way to the convention hall (of course, we took MRT there we ain't superpeople). The place was damn packed. The express pre-order line was large but the normal queue was like, one whole line to the end of the 4th hall and then it made a loop back. That's how big the line was. And I had to be in the normal queue cos I didn't pre-order and there is no pre-order for 1 day. So I thought I was going to take the whole day to get to the end until mel amazingly cheated her way out of an extra ticket and I flew inside.

The place was FABULOUS. This is more of an industry thing, so there were merchandise and digital art workshops. And loads of cosplay. I took a damn load of pics, and the huge cameras were blinding me so I arrowed someone who was asking to take a shot and quickly take along with it. I will put up pics sometime in the future... But they had tons, like Soul Eater (I caught DTK, Chibi Medusa and Stein), KURO, Code Geass, I even found a Deidei, Sailor Moon, DN, even some tubby person dressed as Shinji Ikari, a Kanda, tons of Allen, a GUNDAM EXIA whom I heard took 20 min to dress up. This is heaven. Seriously.

Cosplayers were everywhere, even when mel and I went to macs and I saw an Allen playing YuGiOh. When I went to the toilet I saw a bunch of girls dressed up as Allen and Inuyasha. If you don't know what the catch is, they are MALE characters, so its amusing to see them in the girls bathroom. Mel and I tried to get out, then I saw this whole bunch of cosplayers and we followed them. Quite an odd group though, there was Tobi (Naruto), Inuyasha, Allen and Komui(DGM), Lambo(KHR) and a few goth girls.

Amazed at the turnout. Oh, I also saw Esme, and i think I nearly broke her ribs. Her friend said I looked as if I was gonna rape her. LOLOLLOL. Then after that I saw her around 3 more times. It's either the venue is too small or it was fate.

As I said, pictures will be up soon. Ciao!!

Yum, my dad's birthday cake. He's lived for half a century, yay!!

Deserts are nice, had some pistachio thing, but I ate the raspberries off my dad's ice cream.

Looks something like this. Really nice.

If only I could get Sebastian to make some nice desert for me along with Assam tea with rosehip mufufufu.

3 more papers left, the previous papers being either a joke or requiring brain skills. Screw cambridge. They really want to tire the crap out of us.

Roughly how I felt after the teacher collected the math paper. Damn camera resolution.

This week has been really tiring, cambridge is not making things any better. I really hope with my ability and God's grace, I'll be able to get As for my chem and math, a B for bio, a decent mark for gp and geog. I really want to get into pharmacy even though the thought of it seems bleak...

Maths paper 2 today. Lost like 10 marks due to blanks, some more due to carelessness or not putting units, I just hope that it is good enough to gain me an A...

After this week I can burn my math stuff...no, it'll be dumped in my bro's room. I remember I said I would burn my O level stuff, but no, most of it is still sitting in my cupboard. So much for procrastination...
