So we had usual first paper, GP, the paper I never fail to bring an ELEPHANT back to my parents every term...

The paper 1 was insane, I was choosing between a govt youth question and this strange one on "Should fairy tales still be taught to children?" I did the latter. And my answer is... YES!

Basically I chose that cos from my experience I have seen and benefitted somewhat. Even though we live in a harsh, cold, cruel world, and children eventually grow up to see this, but childhood should be filled with fun and exploration (and NOT by the crap activities that our parents throw into our already crazy schedules) so that they can learn by themselves, without the blemish of this world...HOMG I was thinking TET the whole time and also of Enchanted, for my counter argument. Not everything is a fairy tale. Whether you take the other side or not, I feel that we ought to be more open to the world. Just do not let us integrate into its dark realism too quickly, lest we become too rigid and conformed.

The paper 2 was total crap, on immortality. Who the hell wants to live forever??? Actually the world mindset is that people fear death, so they'll be happy to postpone it. Still they can die from drowning or by car crash, so we are still mortal. Having seen enough shonen manga to realise how useless immortality is, I would rather be happy in the arms of God. Then again, making myself into a young, cute puppet won't be that bad...

Right, I need to print out crap worksheets. I WILL update this blog as often as possible for the few people who actually care to read it. As long as I do not get slapped in the face again.
