Once upon a time, I was falling in love
But now, I'm only falling apart
There's nothing I can do
A total eclipse of the heart

Once upon a time, there was light in my life
But now, there's only love in the dark
There's nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart

I am always in the dark..

While I finish up my brain-boggling report, I shall take the chance to report on something else, OF COURSE IT IS SOY DAMMIT.

I reached the place at 11am, and realised I don't have enough money. I trudged around in the hot sun to find an atm, which I did. ONLY TO DISCOVER IT DID NOT DISPENSE CASH. So since I didn't want to get lost inside NP just to find an atm, I travelled to shopping centre to top up, then went back. Of course, I was sweating like a pig.

I found a bathroom to change, but the whole toilet was crowded with cosplayers and totally no ventilation. People + no air +effects of walking a lot = a very hot and sweaty china. Then I found Silk and we got tickets to go in. I shall summarise rest of the day in point form.

-Hung around Hika and Sana's booth and bought some canbadges.
-Watched single category cosplay competition. First up was a straight=haired Miranda (D.Gray-man), whose answer to "what vid game character would you be?" was that there were no games in her era, and started talking about a throwing-stuff-in-bin game. Then some Fooly Cooly and Metal slug X guy, and another Saucecakes. This particular Sasuke was quite skinny, and his question was "theme song". I sang Pub & Go, of course, but he chose "Bring me to life" cos "it is emo".
-Karaoke section next, this girl sang Ayumi's "Dearest", but poor girl's tube started dropping and she kept pulling on it and going off tune, so host Tamaki-sempai was a gentleman and gave her a coat XDD (She won the competition, by the way).
-Went outside for fresh air, spotted an Austrian Succession Prussia and Chibitalia, took pictures.
-Found Jeanette, and we called Peishan
-Poor buchou got lost, even though jeanette and I stood on the table and waved hard.
-Went in for look-see, everyone bought canbadges. I bought one more.
-Found a Russia siblings print, and the russia siblings handed it out.
-I unofficially became one with jeanette. Oh, and sana's booth description read: "Afterall we'll be one with russia soon..." Yeah, so no wonder China is almost always with russia in the canbadges.
-Went to tofu cafe, saw Vicky, ate rolls.
-Went out, crashed a Hetalia cosplay group, took pictures with cosplayers.
-This prussia stole my panda under my nose. I hit her with a ladle XDD
-Posing time, first time see so many ppl shooting me, so I looked so off focus in my pictures cos I was looking at so many damn cameras without knowing which one was going off.
-Prussia steals Belgium's waffles, and while being chased, drops Gilbird, but the waffles are saved.
-Japan asks me how old am I. I answered my age and I swear everyone took a jump back. I'm too young for my own good OTL. Then again, China is forever young XDDD
-More photos with group
-Went in again to watch performance. It was beyond description, period.

Yep, it was fun being a cosplayer, heh.

First post of the New year! Pachipachipachipachi~XD

Right, tmr I will be taking my Japanese level 4 placement test, i.e. last sem's level 3 exam. I tried last last sem's exam and by golly, I am astounded by the number of words I have forgotten. Lesson learnt from last attempt is NOT to show off on the sentence structures (funny I remember sentence structures more than words themselves-the effect of constant sentence writing?). The katakana and kanji writing parts are easy as pie, the fill in the blanks are nonsense, but I can manage the verbs part. Comprehension is total RUBBISH MAN. I hope my compre isn't too difficult (then again I have 3 hrs to kill, fufufu). Compo is another piece of crap, but remember NOT TO OVERDO IT. Use simple sentence structures, after all level 3 is equal to half of what I learnt in Ikoma. Take it nice and slow.

Whether or not I get it (IMUSTIMUSTIMUST GET THIS MODULE OR MY GPA WILL NEVER RECOVER FROM THE DAMAGE CAUSED BY MY ECONS), my plan for further learning will continue, at the expense of cramming my year 2 schedule. I will start studying my higher level stuff VERY WELL during the course of my vacation, then sign up for the N4 exam (gosh I must remember that the syllabus changed) in August, spam more learning (but of course school takes priority), go for the weekend preparatory classes in October, MUG hard for school plus JLPT. Just pretend it is studying for some intense level 5 course or something.

Side missions include finding a job in the hols (a nice job with nice pay), and bringing up my gpa this sem to 3.0 to rectify the huge damage caused.

Ok must stuff in some last minute nouns now. Pon pata pon pata~

SPAAZZZZZZZZ. Working harder is in great order. Well, not having to compete with the smart ppl who bring the bell curve up like the BMS ppl who get 4.5 gpa, and then the really average ones have to fight and work so hard only to be torn down by whether or not they S/U their electives.

Well here are my New Years resolutions.

1) To be diligent and wise in being a YMH
2) To up my gpa to above 3
3) To set aside 1 hr everyday to practice piano for the whole of Jan and Feb
4) Revise the day's lectures after school
5) Get a job and make some moolah to pay for JLPT prep lessons

This is hopeless mannnnnn

Since I only have one paper left, and today's paper left me high, so here's what I can do for my week left in Singapore before I leave for holiday.

-Get registration SETTLED.
-STOP worrying about whether will fail papers. It's not gonna help when you have left it to the hands of the Lord.
-Make some Hetalia paper dolls. Maybe give Mel a Turkey to bring to Turkey to take a photo. Yeah, I'm that stoned.
-Practice more piano
-Scout for Kajiura piano scores no matter how much it costs and play piano, also eyeing the Hetalia fanbook when Kino finally brings it into stock
-Go out with Mel before she leaves for holiday
-Go out with new friends
-Start to forget enough Japanese to make self look stupider for the placement test and not spill out the freaking jargon. At least they tell us now that a false declaration is liable to harsh punishment, yeesh.
-Help Mentos' wedding decorations
-Visit grandfather
-Clean desk (and dump the sem 1 stuff XDDD jk)
-Go shopping (can be combined with going out with friends) for clothes, books and the like.
-Pray about a larger contribution to the youths in YM (follow-up leader, YML, etc)

Now still have BS102 HNNNNNGGGGG. Cheers for past year papers.

Got brains burnt out by econs, and now is stuffing it with biomolecules. URGH WHEN WILL IT END.

I spotted something really amusing on the news.

"Russia and Ukraine reach gas deal"

I totally laughed off my seat. Just a week before, Hetalia had come up with the Russia strips and poor Ukraine couldn't pay gas, and now the real life stuff is looming over us. Oh the relevance of wonderful Hetalia and current affairs, even the picture of Putin and Ukrainian PM was replaced in my head by Ivan and his sister. LOOLZ.

The more Hetalia and the world mix, the more the world will be seen in a better light. In cartoon personification.

back to the fumehood.

I've never failed so hard in an experiment before, maybe its because of the cocktail of smells wafting throughout the lab that dulled my senses, or the fact that we didn't read properly to use DRY test tubes to put our solutions in.

By right, esters are supposed to smell sweet. What we got was nail polish, then bubblegum, rubber, rubber, mutant orange....or at least that's what the TA says. Our report is screwed. We ended up faking smells according to what other ppl got or what the TA got, so we just threw up our stuff and went home. Fun though, but I ended up smelling nothing but rubber in my brain.

ORGANIC CHEM PRACS ARE SO FUN SO FUN SO FUN. So much better than doing SPARTAN.

Progressing mission to invade Japanese level 4 next sem. I'm going to take the lady's (who said I was bleeping overqualified) advice and try again for the next sem. And I am gonna screw it up so bad (at least answering in simple terms and not use bombastic verbs and sentence structures like I did the last time), so that I can sneak inside. Bwaha. If they still catch me and throw me out, fine by me, I'll find a backup UE to study.

So much to do, so little time. When time is god-given, it is up to us to make it last.
